Dear Sir, I'm writing with regard to a series of thefts of personal belongings which occurred at our school in recent months. I think that the school board should take steps to stop the thefts on school premises.

To begin with, it would be a good idea for the schoolboard to provide students with lockers so that students can lock their belongings in their lockers. In this this way it would be more difficult for thieves to steal things.

Secondly, another helpful suggestion would be to install security cameras in the school corridors where the lockers are set. By doing this any thefts would be recorded and thieves could be apprehended.

Finally, it would be a good solution to advise students to avoid taking valuables to school. If there is nothing valuable to steal, thieves won't be interested in breaking into the lockers.

To sum up, if these precautions are taken I believe that thefts in our school will decrease. Consequently, our school will become a safer and friendlier environment for students. Your faithfully, XYZ
