Whether it's food to live, clothes to keep warm, a souvenir, or a furniture to decorate, there's good reason why being able to buy things in any language is one of the most sought-after skills amongst learners. Asking for something, how much things cost, whether something is available, or where you can get things if it isn’t, are useful for obvious reasons, so here we will look at some essential Polish vocabulary about Home and Furniture and various ways to express these in Basic polish language. As in English there are a variety of ways to ask for something in a shop - from the mildly curious, to the particular, from the super polite, to the curt and brusque. It's worth getting to grips with different ways to say them as each has its own level of appropriateness to different shopping situations. The furniture in a home is like the meat and potatoes of a meal. Our furniture takes up most of the space and helps make your home feel lived in, welcoming and complete. When choosing furniture for your living and dining room, it’s important to pick timeless, functional pieces that fit your space and budget! Choose from contemporary and modern, traditional or a bit of both in a unique eclectic mix – there are no rules, so don’t be afraid to get creative and buy furniture you love. Shopping furniture at the Polish stores can be confusing…or not? Don’t fear! Let’s look at the Bedroom furniture vocabulary and some phrases that will help you purchase home furniture at the polish store!
